All students in grades four through six have completed art projects that will be on display at the African American Multicultural Museum, which is located at 617 N. Scottsdale Rd. The exhibit will run mid-October through November 12th. The artworks depict a portrait of one person with many skin tones collaged onto the face. The hair is painted with red, white and blue paint, to symbolize that many different individuals live within the United States of America.
Students wrote a short essay to accompany their artwork, explaining why it is important for people to get along with one another. Why do you think friendship and getting along with others is an important part of life?
